Yssouf Gbané, Chairman of the Board of Sunu Bank Togo

(Togo First) - Appointed chairman of the board of SUNU Bank Togo on November 19, 2025, Yssouf Gbané is an Ivorian banker with extensive experience in the West African financial sector.

A graduate of the Institut National Polytechnique Houphouët-Boigny and the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), he also holds an Executive MBA from Ichec Brussels Management School.

He began his career at Compagnie Bancaire de l'Atlantique Côte d'Ivoire, where he held the positions of deputy director of credit and client relations, director of operations, and director of banking operations.

He later joined Banque Atlantique Niger as Secretary General before moving to Banque Atlantique Burkina Faso, where he served for nearly eight years, first as deputy chief executive officer and then as chief executive officer. He succeeds Mohamed Bah as chairman of the board of SUNU Bank Togo as the bank pursues a restructuring plan.
