(Togo First) - Trained as a microbial biotechnologist, Urbain Amoussou quickly turned to entrepreneurship and writing after returning from Fez where he studied.
From works of the mind to entrepreneurship, the young Togolese has several strings to his bow and seems to be well established in the Togolese incubation sphere.
The main project he is associated with is CUBE, an incubator he founded in 2016 to support young entrepreneurs' innovative projects and help African startups define and structure their business plan and raise funds. The primary vocation of CUBE, according to Amoussou, is to share the experiences of young entrepreneurs.
The Alumnus of the US International Visitor Leadership Program wants to leverage biotechnological sciences to develop a new source of energy on the continent. Congruent with this vision, he launched BioTri, a startup that produces biopesticide using microorganisms.
Urbain Amoussou is also the founder of AGAU Edition, a digital platform for sharing articles, promoting writing, publishing, and revealing literary talent in Africa.
In 2019, he was recruited as chargé d'affaires at NunyaLab, a new incubator launched by the government and the UNDP.
