Edem D'ALMEIDA is a reference when it comes to ecology, green economy, or the environment. After working at Suez Environnement in France for 13 years, the entrepreneur launched Africa Global Recycling (AGR) in Togo. AGR is a waste recycling company that collects waste, processes it, and ships the recycled products, worldwide, to large companies looking for low-cost raw materials. The startup which is in constant growth recorded a turnover of 200 million FCFA in 2019. Its goal now is to make Togo "a center of excellence in waste management."
