(Togo First) - An engineer by training, Marc Dèdèriwè ABLY-BIDAMON was born in 1964 in southern Togo. He has advanced expertise in the field of telephony and telecoms. Influential yet discreet, he has held many important positions in the public sector as follows: General Director of Customs, Administrator at BCEAO, Administrator of Togo Telecom.
Considered one of those closest to the Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé, he returned to the spotlight after standing in the shadows for a few years. Until September 30, 2020, he was the minister of mines and energy - a very important position in a context where the country actively seeks investors to finance its ambitious National Development Plan (PND).
