(Togo First) - Recently ranked among the most influentialbusiness lawyers by the Jeune Afrique magazine, Martial AKAKPO is the head of Martial AKAKPO & associés, a law firm founded a few years earlier by his father Charles AKAKPO, after a rich career as a teacher and magistrate.

Specialized in International business litigation in particular, with a focus on corporate financing and capital markets, he also assists his clients on the new OHADA markets. The law expert helps Togolese firms regarding financings provided by international institutions such as Proparco, the IFC, or the AfDB. Doctor of Law, Martial AKAKPO also holds an executive Master’s in corporate finance and capital markets from SciencesPo Paris and a university degree in international business litigation.

Member of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, he mostly teached maritime litigation.
